The fireflies’ magic returns for a 2ᵉ year!
Chouette à voir! once again invites you to experience a magical moment under the stars. On July 11th, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the 2ᵉ edition of the evening dedicated to fireflies will be held!
Let yourself be amazed by these luminous insects as night falls, and set off to meet them with family or with friends. This nocturnal visit is the perfect opportunity to slow down the pace and indulge in a nature break, in harmony with the sounds of the forest.
On the program:
- A fascinating lecture on the life and behavior of fireflies
- A guided observation tour at dusk
- Interactive and educational activities for young and old
This unique event is ideal for nature lovers or anyone curious to discover the mysterious world of these fascinating beetles.

Chouette à voir! is located at 875, rang Salvail Sud (J0H 1P0) in Saint-Jude, just 15 minutes away from Saint-Hyacinthe.

Cancellation policy
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. In the event of absence, your contribution will be used to support our efforts to conserve and rehabilitate birds of prey.
Do you live in Saint-Jude?
Admission is free for residents! Simply reserve your place online using the code STJUDE. Proof of residency will be required at the door.
UQROP members
Admission is free! Reserve online using the promotional code received by e-mail. Reservations are mandatory in all cases.
What if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will be postponed to the following day. Keep your ticket: you’ll be asked for it at the entrance. In the event of a complete cancellation, an e-mail will be sent to you no later than 3 hours before the event.
