Daniel A. Séguin Garden
The first educational garden in Quebec, the Jardin Daniel A. Séguin was born of the desire to provide students at the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire with a life-size laboratory. Located in Saint-Hyacinthe and easily accessible from Highway 20, which connects Quebec City to Montreal, this magnificent 4.5-hectares floral park now has three components: educational, cultural and tourism.
Please note that the Garden is fenced and equiped with picnic tables, benches, a terrace, toilets, water trough and a boutique. It is partially accessible to wheelchair users. The Daniel A. La Vallée du Wapiti
La Vallée du Wapiti is a family farm located in Saint-Bernard-de-Michaudville. During this outdoor tour, visitors can observe elk in their natural environment, while visiting an interpretation center dedicated to these magnificent cervids (by reservation only). These tours are educational and interesting and last approximately 1.5 hour. A visit to this farm is a must-do activity in the area.
