A colorful week-end!
Arts, birds of prey and nature are on the agenda! These days of festivities will allow you to discover artists of the region.
A colorful program:
- exhibition booths of local artists on the theme of birds of prey,
- demonstrations of artists at work,
- crafts and activities for children,
- visits of the Owl trails
- and presentation of birds of prey in flight at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
A silent auction online will be held in collaboration with the artists in attendance. Their work will raise donations for UQROP.

Winter 2026
Spring Break Special Event

For spring break, take a walk in the forest away from the crowds at Chouette à voir! It’s the only time of year when you can enjoy the site in the middle of winter.
Program:
- Hiking and snowshoeing (bring your own snowshoes!)
- Birds of prey observation
- Visit the rehabilitation complex
- Photo with ambassador bird on fist ($)
- Tobogganing (bring your own!)
- Hot chocolate, coffee and tea on site (bring your own reusable mug!)
- *NEW* : Night safaris are back!
On Saturdays, March 2nd and 9th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Chouette à voir! will welcome you for a guided walk by moonlight and flashlight. Who knows? Maybe it’ll be a chance to hear the owls hoot?

Participate in the Chouette Auction!
Due to its great success, the Union québécoise de réhabilitation des oiseaux de proie (UQROP) is once again organizing the Chouette Auction; a 100% online fundraising campaign. The funds raised will help continue the missions of rehabilitation of birds of prey and education of the public to the cause.
A wide range of products will be offered! From local products and crafts to outdoor accessories, the Chouette Auction will also offer experience prizes for family and friends to enjoy.

Perseids Night

Experience the magic of the Perseids at Chouette à voir!
Join us for two unforgettable evenings when shooting stars and nocturnal birds share the Saint-Jude sky! During this unique event, Chouette à voir! opens its doors to you after sunset for an immersive experience between astronomy and nature under a beautiful starry sky far from the city lights.
On the program:

🔭 Use of a telescope to explore the starry sky
🦉 Fist bird presentation
🧠 Interactive quiz

July 11
The magic of fireflies!

The magic of fireflies returns for a 2nd year!
Chouette à voir! invites you again to experience a magical moment under the stars. On July 11, from 19:30 to 21:30, the 2nd edition of the night dedicated to fireflies will take place!
Let yourself be amazed by these glowing insects as night falls, and go meet them with family or friends. This nocturnal meeting is the perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy a nature break, in harmony with the sounds of the forest.
Program:
- A fascinating conference on the lifestyle and behavior of fireflies
- A guided observation outing at dusk
- Interactive and educational activities for all ages
This unique event is ideal for nature lovers or anyone curious to discover the mysterious world of these fascinating beetles.

Cancellation Policy
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you are absent, your contribution will help support our conservation and rehabilitation efforts for birds of prey.
Do you live in Saint-Jude?
Admission is free for residents! Just reserve your spot online using the code STJUDE. Proof of residence will be required at the entrance.
UQROP Members
Your access is free! Reserve online using the promotional code received by email. A reservation is mandatory in all cases.
What if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will be postponed to the next day. Keep your ticket safe: it will be required at the entrance. In case of complete cancellation, an email will be sent to you no later than 3 hours before the activity.

Quebec is rich in a wide variety of natural habitats that are home to many birds of prey. From the vast plains of the Arctic tundra to the urban parks of our cities, we invite you to capture not only the province’s birds of prey, but also the splendor of the Quebec landscape.
The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of these birds in regulating ecosystems, and to highlight their ecological role through observation of their behavior and interaction with their environment. Participate to highlight these fascinating predators and their essential contribution to ecosystem stability.
